Truck Refrigeration Unit Configuration
Vehicle Powered (Direct Drive)
The compressor is coupled with the truck engine. A Standby unit is available (option) for plug-in to AC outlet. Can be operated at low or medium temperatures. No need to have separate units for this application.
Self-Driven (Diesel Engine Drive)
The unit has its own engine and motor to drive the compressor. Can run independently even if truck engine is not running. Unit can be operated at low or medium temperatures.
Multi Temperature Unit
The unit can serve two partitions running at different temperatures. Each partition has one evaporator running on one refrigeration unit.. This is available on both vehicle-powered and self-driven units.
All Thermoking Truck/Trailer Refrigeration Units have the capability to operate at both low (frozen) and medium (chilled) temperatures depending on the load requirements. Can run at very low temperatures up to -30 deg C suitable for loads such as ice cream.
